East Dartmouth Mobile Food Market - brings fresh, affordable food to Halifax residents with limited access. Orders can be ordered and picked up from three locations:

Happy at Home Halifax - free frozen meals delivered each week to your door. Currently there is a waitlist for this service. Call 902.414.7032

Heart to Home Meals - offers frozen meals delivered right to your door and they can even put them in the freezer for you! Their menu has standard-sized meals, mini versions for smaller appetites, hearty versions for larger appetites, a range of delicious minced or pureed meals as well as meals that have controlled levels of potassium and phosphorus. The Lunch Lady - offers meals to children in school, but has recently branched out to offer service to seniors, corporations, daycares, and people in the community. They offer a great menu selection that follows Canada's Food Guide. Their commercial kitchen is located in Lower Sackville and they offer delivery throughout HRM.

Meals on Wheels Halifax - delivers fresh, nutritious meals to residents who are unable to prepare meals themselves. The delivery area includes Halifax Peninsula, Fairview, Spryfield, and Rockingham. Tel: 902.429.4299. Since December 1, 2024, Meals on Wheels clients are eligible for a subsidy against the cost of their meals, see more here.

Meals on Wheels Lower Sackville - delivers fresh, nutritious meals to residents who are unable to prepare meals themselves. Delivery area includes Sackville, Bedford, Mt. Uniacke, Waverly, Fall River, Wellington, Windsor Junction, Hammonds Plains, and Beaverbank. Tel: 902.869.6103.

Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) - offers home care, personal support, and community services such as Meals on Wheels (Frozen Favourites), all to enhance each client's quality of life.
