Certain categories may not appear or may be slightly different for each region depending on what services are available. You may want to consult this list of potential questions to ask home care providers before hiring any agencies or private individuals.
If you are interested in information on government-funded home care, living safely at home (medication management, falls prevention, home adaptations), or specific information on how you and your loved one can make the transition from home to a different type of housing or care setting (assisted living, residential care), please see Transitions in Adult Care.
You may also want to review Our Partners and Allies (see menu box at the right) to find out about other health and community organizations that may offer the help you need.
Please note: The information in these sections is provided as a convenience to let you know what services may be available in your area. The descriptions are provided by the organizations themselves and reviewed by CNS before being added. However, the services are not vetted by CNS, and we cannot recommend one over another. For information about rates, please contact the organization directly.
If there is a service or topic area that you feel we should add, or if you would like your service added to the website, please contact us.
