October

Nutrition webinar

When: October 29, 1:30 p.m.

Where: Zoom

Speaker: Cath Morley

Register: info@caregiversns.org

Feeding someone as a caregiver can seem hard because it is! So much of what we imagine (or see portrayed) about eating and feeding is different from what caregivers experience.

Changes in food types, amounts, textures, tolerance and eating schedules adds up to a lot for caregivers to figure out.

In this session, Catherine will cover these ideas, as well as talk about how caregivers can nourish themselves.

Young Caregiver program

When: October 30 – December 4, every Wednesday, 6 – 8 p.m.

Where: St. Andrew's Community Cenre, Halifax

Young Caregiver program is designed to support caregivers aged 8-12.

For six weeks, young caregivers will gain new life and personal skills, connect with other children in a similar role and build personal strength and positive self-esteem.
